The candles on the Bindu Yoga Centre altar represent the heating up of the planet as we enter spring, when the pitta dosha becomes more dominant. Fire also represents cleansing and purification so it’s time for a little spring cleaning!
Next weekend we’ll be doing simple yoga cleansing practices and luxuriating in the wood fired hot tub. Because you won’t have the distraction of phones etc. you’ll be able to totally immerse yourself in the experience.
On Saturday we will also be celebrating the Hindu festival of Shivaratri with a havan (fire ceremony).
